5 stars: Has it's flaws but as Google is even worse and Chrome sucks hard what other options do I have. Search results are better with Qwant if (and thats a big if) you search for common stuff.
5 stars: Really happy with Quant so far. I've just changed recently and bing, Startpage and Quant appear to give much more accurate search results when looking up anything to do with health or politics. So tired of the heavily biased and corporate owned search results.
4 stars: Qwant claims to not track location or browser history of their users. If it was really true, I couldn't see my location below of qwant search bar. It was pretty surprising when I saw 'India' below its search bar. Thus, I think they collect users' information, location but they don't share it. The app is based on firefox browser itself. The firefox is known for using high CPU and battery usage. Firefox is even worse than chrome 👎
4 stars: I really like Qwant and have recently replaced Google for most of my queries. However, the app is really slow on startup. Even if I use the setting to turn off the news on the homepage, it still loads them after the app has been restarted. This is super annoying.
