5 stars: It has been an excellent experience with BBC news and other things. I keep myself connected with the world through BBC Programmes only. I value the unbiased and independent reporting which I cannot find anywhere else. Not only me, my son has also been with BBC for quite some time. It helps both of us to have the authentic tase of Standard English. Thank you BBC
5 stars: I like the way BBC headlines appear on my lock screen. I can unlock my phone or tablet, swipe down to open my notifications, and tap on a headline to be taken to the text version of a story I want to read. Embedded within the story are headlines of previous, related stories that give background, context, and report on aspects of the current story.
5 stars: Good source of news without hype. I use them primarily for the push alerts. (Alas they do seem to under-report items disparaging of UK.) Combine with Reuters, AFP, France24, CBS, NBC, ABC, NYT and WaPo push alerts for very good eye on the world around you. (None of these are sufficient by themselves.)
3 stars: The current news is fast and reasonably accurate. Videos are generally irrelevant to subject matter, preceded by advertisement and cannot be in landscape mode. Featured articles are average. Scientific articles are with glamorous title but little substance. Stories bad and soapy. It has no longer a crisp succinct British style writing of the old BBC.
