3 stars: Good game all over and has great potential. The only problem I've seen is that some times the game freezes up after beating a boss or while at a save point. Have seen other reviews with the same problem. If they could get that fixed would be a easy 5 star. Also love the old style 16 bit graphics and sound.
4 stars: Not as much fun to play as DQ 2, and a little buggy. Breaking stuff on the side of the road is WAY TOO HARD! I don't particularly like starting all the way from scratch every time, either. Controls feel even more cluttered this time around, and block is very hard to get right.
3 stars: I used to absolutely grind this game because I love the optics and the game in general. Then a year ago or so no new updates came and so I stopped playing. I opened is once a month to see if there was at least a new raid but nothing. Now I see an update all it did was fix bugs , wich is great don't get me wrong but will there be raids again? Or anything new for that matter ? I live this game so much great work.

4 stars: Easy and fun timekiller. More slow tempo than previous DQ 1\u00262. Only downside is freguent crashing. Happens mostly when you play bosses. ( End screen loops and prevents run progress.)
