4 stars: Amazing emulation of a phenomenal game! Ads are not intrusive and it runs smoothly on my Motorola G7. Very unique RPG with engaging elemental spirits and weapons mechanic. The soundtrack is okay, but since this is a Yuzo Koshiro soundtrack, you can clearly see that something went wrong music wise. The reason I didn't give five stars are the controls: there is no visual feedback of d-pad press on touch screen, only buttons have it.
4 stars: Seems like a really good port of these older games. The touchscreen doesn't always make it easy to play, but still good.
4 stars: While its fun to play, the only way to truly save the game seems to be when one is logged in to Google play. Otherwise the game get a reset each time you close the app. Perhaps if that was fixed it would be less frustrating when the game randomly crashes and progress is lost.
3 stars: The game itself is great, however did experience some glitches with directional movement. The save system is awful. I would much rather purchase the game and save freely, than have to watch an ad EVERY time I want to save progress.
5 stars: Grew up trying to play this game on Sega Genesis. It took me 20 years to get 2 spirits. Now that this app is available I can finally finish this game! Love love love it!!! Thank you Sega!
