4 stars: Really enjoying this as a paywall-free replacement for Google news. 1 yr later some improvement, but still not as smart as Google news (eg you might see an astrology story pop up in the science section) and not carrying big paywall sites like nyt or Washington Post.
4 stars: Pretty decent. I like the variety of payment options and variety of sources you can tailor for each topic. Edit: Whilst the app is great the website (which I often browse on my laptop) is not very good. If I could choose sources and topics on the website as well then it would be 5 star news service.
3 stars: I'm new to this app .... much of the 'diving deeper' stories seem to just repeat the original content. Unfortunately, the World news (particularly US and Canada) seems so negative that I'm not sure I want to stay on top of it. I left the USA behind for Mexico in 2016 and am grateful every day that I did so. Folks are much happier here -- South of the Border! Feliz Año Nuevo!!
5 stars: Great app. Finally something with no ads! I also really enjoyed the dive deeper section at the end of the article. It allows me to read multiple view points on the same story. It also reminds me a little of the movie...
