5 stars: This is the navigation app I've been looking for! Now if you can only get it to stop crashing all the time, especially in demo mode! Please fix this!! Five+ stars when fixed! EDIT: fixed the crashes - 5 stars!! My only concern is data usage - base map is insufficient for my liking. Terrain and satellite options are a must for me.
4 stars: Love the almost instant GPS
4 stars: A very promising app. The interface is clean. The maps and routes are clear. The routing, especially mid trip reroutes, need improvement. The destination search is clunky. There is no need to suggest locations that are thousands of kms away, first. The exit signs are great but they need to include an exit number. I love the promise of privacy. But how does the app make money?
3 stars: Traffic updates are very close to what waze provides, it's understandable that Magic Earth has a smaller user base so Waze would do better than it in some scenarios, but overall does a very good job. The UI could be updated to be more modern in my opinion. I don't know why there's a limit on the number of reports a user can submit, but that's very stupid as I'm not able to contribute properly.
2 stars: The version of OpenStreetMap is outdated. As of today (aug. 26) the most recent update was at the end of May - 3 months ago. Using maps from 3 months ago in the modern world really is a no-go. The app comes with many neat features. The UI is fast, but feels dated and cumbersome. The app also forces my...
