4 stars: It's a great app but... I find most authenticators are a tad too complex. This one is the most straightforward I have found. However, I do still get times where I'm not sure why it doesn't work 100% Yes. It is likely to me. But very tech savvy but why don't authenticator apps just work the same way for EVERY situation? It probably is 5* but there is just a bit too much complexity.
3 stars: Bug: If you launch the app and don't provide your fingerprint, instead press the back button, you can't exit the app. You get stuck in a never ending loop of the login screen. Pressing the home or task switcher buttons let's you get out, and then you can kill the app by clearing it from the recent app list. This is sad for an app by Microsoft.
3 stars: Typically works but is a pain in the rear having to wait for an e-mail or a text to advance. Most MFAs require the same, so... they are all inconvenient. I wouldn't use it except my employer requires this. As long as you have access to your cellphone it's not as bad; but, if you need to login to an email account to verify--wow. It sucks worse. If you have no cell phone or you don't want to use yours for privacy concerns, tough luck.
