4 stars: If it wasn't for the poor playback quality, it would be a 5, but every time I open the app and try to watch something, I get stuttering, minor visual glitches, and / or delayed audio or video. I've tried on my phone, PC, and 2 different laptops at work, at a library, at home, or even while traveling, so I doubt it's a network issue...
4 stars: I like the top section that lets us return to programs we hadn't finished watching. The section that lets us link to channels we subscribe to is helpful. The app could be improved by moving our watch list after subscriptions. I find it hard to know what follows the subscriptions list. Using the subs section as a template with sections instead of channels would make a big difference.
3 stars: So much for no ads..I didn't sign up for this yrs ago. Mobile app kinda sucks, it isn't as slick as others and doesn't always sync properly with what episode I was previously on. Otherwise it's fine. It has some decent shows, just like any other app..less than Netflix. If I wasn't an Amazon shopper, I would be extremely less inclined to just use the video app.
2 stars: The app doesn't work very well with smart view. Most of the time I have to use a blue tooth speaker for audio and sometimes the video don't work on this app. I use a couple of other movie and video apps. And this one seems to be the very most problematic. So I'm only guessing it's this app, although I can't be totally certain
