4 stars: This app is excellent. The only reason I'm not giving a 5 star review is because some ads still get through occasionally. Recently this has happened more often, on apps that should have been blocked from all internet connection entirely, but clearly that has not been the case. I'm not sure what's wrong, but it works well in most cases anyway so this is not a deal-breaker.
4 stars: It did work, but my main concern was that if the server was hacked, then my login info or passwords would be compromised. It isn't a bad firewall, but I may choose ProtonVPN or NordVPN to be exactly secure.

5 stars: I use an old android phone as a gps at work, I wanted to have traffic service available on my cheap data plan but didn't want to use data for anything else. With netguard, I'm able to totally control what is allowed to use mobile data. I locked out everything except the few apps I wanted to be able to use. I even locked down the system apps. Netguard is a must if you want full control.
