4 stars: App works fine on LG V20. It does download a bunch of data, so Wi-Fi makes sense when installing. First times takes a minute to open. After first time it opens in a few seconds. Has two youtube videos on setting up and initial water test. On setup, learned I can set lid on pot handle. Now still figuring out what button is used when recipe says press manual button. I assume slow cook.
3 stars: Comments do not work. Lacks metric measures. Lacks user publishing recipes. All recipes copied from Facebook IP Communities. No recipe printing or customizing. Categories should indicate number of recipes they contain. Updates should indicate number of recipes added, if any. PLEASE FIX BROKEN COMMENTING.
3 stars: It's an ok app...in its infancy. The recipes are good and navigation easy. But, the app would benefit from GOOD usability testing. To do anything you have to tap twice (doesn't take the first time); there's simple annoyances like once an item is on your grocery list it NEVER disappears so very quickly the list becomes unreadable with persistent items from recipes I'll never make again. Often there are duplicate grocery items. Also, comments don't work. Two features that would make this truly spectacular: weekly meal planning and linking accounts so family members can pick weekly recipes.
