4 stars: Game kept crashing during the videos. And it would also lag so slowly when I finally got to move around. I saw they updated and I'm gonna see if they fix any of the issues. I'll update later Edit: all problems fully fixed and I was able to finish the tutorial and play. And I'm having a blast. Just wish they let us mix up the soldier units like each commander in the three have their own but it still adds up to the Max limit given.
3 stars: Plays closer to something like rise of kingdoms. I won't say this game is bad because it's not. But to call it the beautiful classic that age of empires is? It's not. It's trying. But it's not. It's fun. But it doesn't captivate me or hold me like the classics. I used to spend dozens of hours playing the classics. If your looking for that this game IS NOT that.
2 stars: Ouch they took a classic and buggered it with excessive animations and additional features. Actual game play consists of clicking on the random things they prompt you to click, and it's a good thing too, because there are too many different game-within-a-game features. I can't keep up with it all and don't understand what's going on? #boring!! Graphics are nice but I won't be keeping this one...
