5 stars: Always had an excellent experience with this app, on laptop, tablet and cell. The free version is hassle free, no annoying ads. If I could afford it, I would use paid version, lots of excellent goodies in there. Thank you for helping us stay connected with the free version. Recommended it to a lot people already. Thank you!!!
5 stars: The free version of this VPN is the best free VPN you can get hands down. It just works. No ads and unlimited data are a big bonus too. You really can't complain about not being able to choose specific countries either, the free servers are strategically placed around so that you're never far away from one, so you don't have to worry about ping issues. Highly recommend!
4 stars: I'd really love to give this app 5 stars; Proton VPN is great, especially since it has a free tier (which is a rarity among VPNs) and is based in a country with strong privacy laws. However, out of nowhere, every time I try to connect to the VPN, it throws a vague error that simply states
3 stars: The VPN is amazing, but the latest update removed the ability to choose your country, which sucks because different countries have different traits, like having different selection of shows on Netflix. The old version was better, even with a limited selection of countries
