5 stars: Excellent app that makes Chinese news easy. Every article has relevant vocab and grammar explained, and many have comprehension questions. Gradually builds up to real world news difficulty level.
5 stars: the exercise mode is just BRILLIANT! I love it! it definitely makes TCB the leading software with regard to other mandarin learning apps. My only suggestion is to synchronise audio recording with the text, so users can select a particular moment in the recording when tapping the respective word in the text (like in duchinese app)
4 stars: A little slow to start but not as bad as other comments have indicated. A very wide selection with wise use of vocabulary. While my knowledge of Mandarin grammar still has much room to develop, I've never been left thinking to myself
4 stars: Mind blowing amounts of of content and across both reading and listening, all graded to your ability so you can challenge yourself appropriately. Only criticism is that the audio player for articles is clunky and not conducive to casual listening, and that because content is news based, there can quite a lot of proper nouns in the vocab, which isn't very useful at beginner/intermediate stages IMO.
