4 stars: While I appreciate the free software that comes with the device it is missing some rather important features. Like being able to erase a single line without going around your elbow. There are workarounds that thankfully other Cricut users have already outlined. So while it's much like using Photoshop 4 today, it it's easy enough to learn and it's makes the use of the Cricut relatively intuitive and simple to use.
3 stars: When the app works, it's actually great. Unfortunately it has a lot of issues. Loves to crash randomly, sometimes won't connect with my machine and occasionally seems to have trouble just getting to the stage to load the mat for a cut. Lately though it's been lagging to a ridiculous, practically unusable extent - it will even just stop cutting completely out of nowhere. Hope these issues are fixed soon.
3 stars: New update issues...I can't seem to clean up an image before the app freezes and I have to start all over. Which then i have to use my laptop, but when I am at work I cannot because I do not bring it with me, then I would have to find the image on a computer at work, download and convert, then upload. Frustrating!
3 stars: I wish there were more features for manipulating text. I use a tablet and cannot do some things that can be done on a computer. Overall it's an ok app. Needs more options for changing art into ...
