5 stars: I've only had it for a few hours, but it's very interactive, and makes you pay attention to what you're learning. Learning feels exciting on some level, and you look forward to learning the languages, and mastering them. I can measurably tell that I'm making progress, from the ratings with each exercise. And it feels fulfilling seeing the progress you're making. Highly recommend.
4 stars: Well, for starters...ask me every three mins to rate the app when I've barely used it? At times the voice recogintion says I was perfect when i definitely wasnt. Otherwise, great setup for learning. A bit more of having me speak it would be better, it's only about 10% of the content so far....but this might be a reason not to ask incessantly for a rating.
3 stars: Learning the Japanese is great except when I get to the listen and speaking practice. The recording cannot hear me say 1 or 2 syllables. Which is very important in Japanese. I tried using headphones, Bluetooth headset and just my phones speaker and nothing. Works for other syllables :P I enjoy the training and how thorough it is though. It always remembers where you left off.
3 stars: Overall the lessons work fine. But unless you are yelling at the mic and on a strong internet connection, the voice recognition is terribly finicky. I have gone as far as picking up a Bluetooth headset with noise cancellation, and the audio pickup and voice detection is still poor. At one point I got so frustrated I yelled at the ...
