5 stars: I downloaded Donna after having seen an ad somewhere, not gonna lie, I was pretty skeptical at first. First few songs I made were gag songs, and they turned out pretty good. Decided to try and make some more serious ones, and was honestly blown away at the quality of music it made! My only suggestion is the ability to change the name of a song that's been created! The app is usually great at naming songs, but sometimes you get titles like
4 stars: Great app for music making, and having fun with different genres. However, I've noticed, that after the recent update, I have major issues with renaming my username. Every time I click on the name to change it, the app and my keyboard freaks out, and I have to close the app completely to fix it. It's not a big deal, but it is annoying cause I wanna change my username. Other than that, the app works just fine.
3 stars: Pretty hit and miss with any of the musical prompts. It often ignores the desired genre or the request for specific gender vocals (especially female). It has a lot of genre styles but still lacks symphonic metal sadly. It renders my lyrics into pretty good music, if only it would actually listen to the prompts. Since you only get 40 songs a week, or 2000 a year, if you have go keep regenerating them, that soon mounts up.
