5 stars: You would be shocked how hard it is to set up a properly customizable photo slideshow on a Chromebook. After well over an hour of attempting different things, this app was the answer. It can be a little janky at times, but it does the job.
4 stars: Nice and simple, does eveything I need but one star off as it won't allow me to access SD card so will have to keep looking for a slide show app.
4 stars: Good basic slideshow app, which is all I wanted. Unfortunately it doesn't support webp files yet.
3 stars: nice set of features, shame slideshows have wrong orientation.
3 stars: Unstable with SMB. Crashes in a few minutes of use.
2 stars: It handles a large number of files, and that's great. What's terrible is that there appears to be no way to change the source folder, or any options at all other than the transition effects and photo resolution. God help you if you need to alter any actual program settings or select a different source option - even a different folder on your own network - because I have yet to find a way to open that menu anywhere.
2 stars: LAN didn't work so I set up a DLNA server. I can see it with this app and it will show the root of the contents but nothing else.
