5 stars: Great Chess Board Scanner, works great. I scan screen shots from the phone and TV, the app works flawlessly every time. It saves all scanned positions automatically (discovered that by chance) Suggestions: Analysis modes to show beat moves as arrows on the board. Analysis button does not work sometimes especially after switching engines. Ability to make engine play against itself Thanks for the good work
4 stars: I like the app. I've been using it to follow the world championship. I did find it sometimes lagged the relay a little, but that could have been my connection... I logged back in this morning to look at game 12 and see the live game section isn't available. I don't see any way to go back and view old games. Is this available in the full version? I appreciate the scan feature. It works most of the time.
4 stars: Very useful for training! But the app has some strange bugs. Sometimes it moves player's piece on its own. And sometimes a new game suddenly starts in the middle of an ongoing one.
5 stars: This is an excellent app for chess training. You can easily scan chess positions from books, magazines, computer displays and analyse positions using the excellent onboard chess engines. I find it helpful to try out moves that are not the best to discover why they are inferior. It is particularly enjoyable when examining highly dynamic positions that lead to mate or a significant positional advantage using exciting tactics.
