3 stars: Platform itself is decent but the video player is the buggiest thing ever. After scrolling for a while, it just doesn't play any videos. Not to mention whenever you watch a video, it opens a bootleg Tik Tok UI that doesn't let you scroll through image and text posts. Also when you minimize the app, it sometimes forgets a ton of posts that you were looking at and puts you back at a random post you already read.
4 stars: Overall a really good app. I didn't have the problems the other reviewers seem to be having. However, it glitches quite often. Here is the main issue I've had: when I enter a chat with certain people, and in certain group chats as well, it causes Reddit to freeze up, and then shut down entirely, making it impossible for me to ever DM these people.
3 stars: The app has been good for years, but has slowly declined the last year or two. it's pretty plagued by annoying bugs. Videos often won't play after a while, profiles stop loading after a few scrolls, the feed and user profile both glitch after exiting a video. The feed refreshes to the top when you back out of videos, and users profiles will refresh to random points in their feed when back out of videos. Needs some work.
4 stars: Good for phone, not for tablet. The app does not allow you to rotate to landscape mode, only portrait. It's fine for the most part but can be a bit of a pain when charging. For mobile on the other hand it's perfectly fine, other then maybe skipping a couple frames...
