4 stars: Sorry, but I had to deduct a star because a read aloud feature is not available in this app. This should be standard in any ebook reader. Instead you have to go through Google's Accessibility features to get this functionality. But it's not adequate because it's not designed for these programs so will do things like stop reading at the end of a page for instance
4 stars: This is a good comprehensive reader and shop to support independent stores. But, to me it is blindingly bright using the app at night even at low screen brightness. Dark mode is thankfully supported in the main reading experience but not in the rest of the app such as loading, library, shop, and settings screens. I'll update the rating to 5 stars when native android dark theme support is added to the entire app.
5 stars: Superb. The last version I had had a day and night feature, with change in contrast. I could read at night without hurting my eyes. The shelf too was beautiful, books arranged in alphabetical order. I wonder if those features have come with this one. Thank you.
4 stars: The app is great for bringing my books with me wherever I am, and keeping all my books organized in one space. I recommend it to anyone looking for a free service to read the ebooks you've paid for, with no paid subscription needed.
5 stars: Everything's great except that the volume buttons on my phone turn the pages, which is annoying when listening to music and reading
