3 stars: Posts will often be missing or out of place after viewing an ad, something that has only happened since the addition of more invasive advertisements. Whilst I'm not opposed to these ads - as it's an otherwise free service - the current implementation is not feasible. When combined with a lackluster search function, I cannot recommend this app over other Reddit alternatives.
4 stars: I've used this app for a few years but I think it's time to find a new one. Seems like every update makes videos unwatchable, and there's just more and more ads. Edit: I stand corrected, I tried the video quality fix they suggested in the response and that seems to have solved it. Still more ads than I'd like, but at least I can see the content!
3 stars: Loved this app for the longest time, specifically for the functionality of being able to scroll through posts in detail view. Recently though they've added ads that either crash the app or cause me to have to exit detail view when I try swiping past them. I understand the need for ads but please fix these glitches...
5 stars: Edit: there was a new update to correct the video quality and I am so relieved. None of the other Reddit apps really meet my needs the way Bacon Reader does! Since the update, I cannot see videos or gifs except I'm very poor, grainy quality. In addition, I need to view an ad every few posts which will throw off the pages I'm looking at, sometimes making the app crash completely
