4 stars: Great until recently... often the widget is just flashing and doesn't update the stories until the app is launched. Now, the other day, the widget background turned dark and the text is dark and unreadable.... UPDATE: This fixed the dark background for me...Turn off dark mode in the app then turn off night mode in the phone display settings then reboot the phone. (+1 start)

4 stars: I love this app. Only 1 problem. While viewing, the app crashes when I switch from portrait to landscape mode and visa versa. I can use the app in either mode when starting, but when I switch while viewing the app crashes and I must close and restart. Samsung Galaxy S6. I keep hoping an update will fix it. Today's update did not.
3 stars: This used to be my favourite news app. After the dark mode update, the widget is permanently on dark mode and I cannot read the headlines as the text is also black. This is a problem even with a light coloured wallpaper. If this is fixed, this app will definitely be my top preference for news again.
