4 stars: Using Gmail for as long as Android phones are on the market. Generally great straightforward app. Love notifications and menu. what disappointed recently was - there are 3 tabs on bottom for mail, chat, and meet. But the last one doesn't work!! one needs a separately installed meet app to actually make calls. very confusing. Maybe it's designed for expansion in the future or afterthought?
3 stars: 1. I’m unable to search email addresses in the To or Cc fields using domain names on the app. It would be helpful if domain-based search functionality could be supported. 2. The app doesn’t allow categorizing emails by color or creating new categories. It would be great to have the option to manage and create color categories directly within the app for better organization.
3 stars: FINALLY dual pane view in portrait on the Z Fold. Now, work on reachability. The Samsung Email app does reachability well, allowing the user to pull down the list of emails, and including key functions like delete at the bottom of the window rather than the top like Gmail. If the Gmail app improves reachability, I'll have no reason to use the Samsung Email app anymore.
