5 stars: Fullscreen shows only the top half of the video. Makes this app basically useless. Edit: The issue has been fixed, so I'm changing my review. It works great, and connecting it to your youtube account is easy and allows it to show your subscriptions and recommendations. And all that without any ads in the videos.
5 stars: Love android because I love that developers can do things like this for consumers so easily. Once it's set up (which was a bit fiddly for me getting my YT account over the way I wanted it to show) it is amazing! I tried 2 other playstore apps that do the same thing but I couldn't get them to either port the YT account or play any vids so very happy and recommend Play Tube to anyone else interested in using their YT account without ads
4 stars: The downside is: - Video buffers when re-opening VancedTube, stopping the audio for that buffer duration. - Library/saved videos are limited to only
3 stars: For some reason videos take a while before starting to play. They buffer when you click on them, then randomly start playing after a while. Also I can't seem to find a fullscreen option? It's either poorly design so it's hard to find or it's just not there which.... why.... other than that I love that you can exit the app or close your phone and it still plays. Will keep using it but definitely could be improved
