5 stars: This app stays on all my devices. Everytime I buy a new phone I download this app. If you're from South Africa you need this app. Keeps you up to date with when Eskom decides to turn your cities/towns power off. Great app I never had problems with it. There's a few other features too like the water problems for just an example. Check it out South Africans need this app.
5 stars: UPDATE: Issue promptly addressed. Thank you devs! I try to search for the area, and it loads and loads and returns nothing. I allow it to use my precise location, and it shows exactly where I am and still doesn't suggest anything. I've used the app on IOS with no issues, and I still stay in the same area. I tried searching streets, area codes, exact address, landmarks etc.
4 stars: In general the app does what is advertised. It's just unfortunate that the communication is only one way. It would have been nice if there was a way to report electricity (and water) problems to the relevant IUSA (Incompetent Utility Service Agency). The biggest problem in SA is the fact that there is no central database recording all instances of service interruption across the country.
4 stars: Extremely handy... Only problem is that I can't choose whether I want to see the community chats or not. I don't, and can't find a way to remove them completely. I have turned off the notifications, but this app needs the option to turn off the chat feed feature completely. It is frustrating as I am over expose...
