5 stars: Always had an excellent experience with this app, on laptop, tablet and cell. The free version is hassle free, no annoying ads. If I could afford it, I would use paid version, lots of excellent goodies in there. Thank you for helping us stay connected with the free version. Recommended it to a lot people already. Thank you!!!
4 stars: I'd really love to give this app 5 stars; Proton VPN is great, especially since it has a free tier (which is a rarity among VPNs) and is based in a country with strong privacy laws. However, out of nowhere, every time I try to connect to the VPN, it throws a vague error that simply states
3 stars: The VPN is amazing, but the latest update removed the ability to choose your country, which sucks because different countries have different traits, like having different selection of shows on Netflix. The old version was better, even with a limited selection of countries
3 stars: Edit: I will send a report. I'm only using proton's on my laptop. I will explain better. Thanks so much of responding! I had to uninstall from my laptop. It slows my connection, it's picked up by most sites and they keep requiring me to do bot tests, and it even keeps me block from certain sites. So I found myself connecting/disconnecting all the time.
2 stars: Hard work, steep learning curve. And even when you've applied recommended settings it still usually slows everything down and some apps don't work properly. Brave browser slow. Samknows speed ...
