5 stars: I changed ISP providers, and the router booted itself into oblivion: no Internet, wired or wireless. After a couple of attempts, a firmware update, and lots of reading, this app changed everything. I had to piggyback the TP-Link on to my original (ancient) router for Internet access, but this app helped me to change the settings that crippled it from the original ISP switch event.
4 stars: Fairly useful and quick access to the device. But lack of advanced features makes it much less useful. Need to login through the site to get access to those. So far it's working, though I've had some minor issues where I reconnected and it kept saying only one person could be logged in at a time and it took 5 mins to time the disconnected profile off.
3 stars: App is ok in general, but the feature of changing the names of devices needs to be improved: it is not intuitive and it doesn't work properly. After changing a device's name, the list of devices don't get updated and keeps showing the default name. Now I have a list of RE550 devices and I don't know which one is which unless I open their own configuration
