5 stars: Great app. Replaces remote if missing or out of battery power. Has all the same controls including voice control but also has a keyboard entry for searches and an app list to see all apps on firetv to open from phone or tablet.
3 stars: Pretty good but no volume control that I can find otherwise does a good job of filling in for the remote. Would also like it if when the Firestick sleeps this app could wake it as it is I have to find the remote because the app disconnects from the hardware once it sleeps.
5 stars: Works well! Especially when your little nephew decides to toss the actual remote somewhere and it can't be found for days... :) Also a plus that it has a keyboard function plus Alexa in the update if you have an older model firestick. Win win!
4 stars: Sometimes I struggle to close the pull down controller. I personally don't like a bunch of icons up. Other then that lagging at times, but a very functional app. I appreciate Amazon releasing this app, thank you.
5 stars: Great app... it's very useful when you have a baby, and don't want them to see the actual remote. The new update makes it even better, I can do everything from any screen, I don't have to actually go to the app to make it work.
