4 stars: Great way to begin. I strongly recommend support for g suite accounts. I also recommend that the app not be abandoned so people have more confidence in Google applications. honestly this is the potential of being a very good addition to the Google's files app. it could be a standalone app but I think it does much better job if it is integrated into a existing app.
3 stars: Oh I want to use this really bad but saving pictures to each New category made is difficult and doesn't let you save them all the time. I do wish there were templates in each category as well but I understand this is still beta. I'm going to keep trying to use it of course. Has potential
3 stars: Needs improvement 1. Add password or biometric (fingerprint) protection. Needed if you have ID or other sensitive info in the app. 2. Enhance cropping so that you can align the document to make it rectangular, instead of each corner being individually movable. You always end up with a trapezoid shape.

Lack of user-creatable folders, few color filters for scanned content, and no dark mode put this app behind CamScanner, but being completely free is a very big plus, as is the Google Drive integration. Can't wait to see how this app expands its feature set as it gets updated!
