5 stars: This is a very helpful app for learning to write and memorize kana. It's a great introductory, after completing the lessons I reccomend finding a Japanese song you like and taking the romanized lyrics and writing them out in hirigana and/or katakana for practice. It will further ingrain them in your memory. If I remember correctly paying for the app unlocks katakana otherwise it's just hirigana. It doesn't teach you the
4 stars: *Update Appears to work after updating my phone. If you're having similar issues, try that. **(This would be a 4 or 5, but something wrong happened with an update or something. After clicking on the app, it quickly exits out. I've unistalled and reinstalled to no avail. I'll try updating my phone and edit this review if that works.) **
