5 stars: I use PlantSnap occasionally - whenever I see a plant and wonder what it is. It's like having a botanical guru in your pocket! It's been very accurate when I already had a good idea of what the plant was, and it's impressed my friends. I haven't looked for an alternative app because I'm 100% happy with PlantSnap.
5 stars: Wow, this app really exceeded my expectations. It's not one shot, 100% accurate, but if you know a little bit about plants, it gives you enough options to pick out the right one. Really useful as someone who just purchased a new home and trying to figure out what the prior owner planted for landscaping.
3 stars: this app has it's heart on the right place but is still not very accurate. i keep testing with unusual plants i find and it comes up with some very incorrect identifications. ok but when one has narrow thin leaves but then shows pictures with big wide leaves, there clearly is a long way to got to get this app working effectively. might aswell tell you that your onions are sunflowers... it's that bad
5 stars: Although not always accurate, this is one of the best sites I've come across so far. I love that it gives you different options to choose from as it's not always possible to get the best pictures. But I love having this app while out exploring with the kids because I can show them different things and teach them about edible plants and such.
