5 stars: An unsung treasure, this app is great as an artist to let loose and build community in a way that's as engaging as old Tumblr and Twitter. It's definitely more for text posts, but it's really fun to ask questions and get feedback and see other people's art. It's a perfect companion to Insta, and the algorithm really is tailored to the way I use the app.
4 stars: Threads offers a refreshing, text-centric social media experience. Its clean interface and focus on conversational engagement are major wins. The Instagram integration is seamless, making it easy to connect with followers. While some media features are limited, and discoverability could improve, it's a promising platform with solid potential. A strong 4-star experience!
3 stars: It's been great until today when it suddenly began crashing at launch. It throws back a long error log. Uninstalling and reinstalling does not resolve the problem, I have also been trying beta and stable versions, there is no difference between the two as both causes the same type of crash. This came out of nowhere as the app worked just fine yesterday, and today it's dead.
2 stars: I like this app but had to give it 2 stars (for now) as it has been frustrating lately. I've been trying to change my display picture, but it keeps reverting to the old one every time I relaunch the app. I did all the basic troubleshooting, like updating, uninstalling and reinstalling, and restarting my phone—still the same.
