5 stars: I'm in the top 10% of players and have been playing for most of my life. I just turned 64. Since I was 5 or 6 I don't think we've been a year go by where I've not played Scrabble. I tend to stick to the classic board and rules and layout. All the
4 stars: The ability to select the 'Classic' version, removing all the distractions that have nothing to do with SCRABBLE, is what makes this a half-decent app. I don't mind having adverts for a free game but sadly, the choice of advertising partners are questionable: depictions of violence, objectification of women, gambling... not really in keeping with a genteel board game.
3 stars: A LOT OF ADS! You make a play, watch and ad, start a game or go back to a game watch an ad, your opponent plays a turn watch an ad. Spend more time watching ads then playing. Most ads end up opening sites even when you don't touch them. Some do a 30 second followed by a 15 second followed by a 5 second...it is ridiculous.
