5 stars: I never rate apps but this time I just had to. Because it has so many levels (beginner, intermediate, etc) you get to practice more. I've had this app for less than a week and I've improved after each lesson. I recommend this app if you want to get better within seconds.
4 stars: Good, easy to use app. Coaching is helpful, however the hints for what moves to do aren't always the best advice? If you follow the hints for every move on intermediate it just leads you to be mated. Also would be great of they had a section that explains different openings (i.e. they will reference something with

One thing, as others have mentioned here already, the AI tends to do some ridiculous moves like putting the Queen out in the open for me to capture way too easily. I would actually be okay paying a one time purchase to unlock all the features but I cannot justify paying a subscription service to something that I dont even know if anymore content is going to be added.
