3 stars: You can do a lot with app, but it's confusing at times and saving songs and radio stations is redundant in different pages that adds to the confusion. Also having tune-in as a radio app that can't be disabled is annoying. Finally, there's a problem with using Google assistant when it's also enabled on your phone and in the same room as a Sonos one. Both the Sonos and phone will respond to ok Google. Very annoying and problematic at times.
3 stars: This isn't a fault of this app specifically - when playing Spotify, the exact same songs skip every time, at exactly the same point in the songs that are skipping. No matter how many times I reset the sonos, refresh the streaming services in the Sonos settings, what network or location I'm at. 300mbps internet at home and at work, in the wall or wireless, on newly made Spotify playlists, etc, etc. What's up?
5 stars: Absolutely beautiful. The new design of the app and the improvements in Trueplay to accommodate for smaller rooms has brought back the true sound of Sonos. I have a Sonos Play:5 in a fairly small room and Trueplay couldn't compensate for the resonating bass. After their new update, the bass is far more controlled and punchy. Highs and mids are crisp as always. This company keeps blowing my mind with their technological evolution.
