5 stars: Haven't seen any other generally available method for such accurate location sharing. Also, as an amusement, I left the app running while my flight was taking off last summer. It was pretty interesting to see, but seemed to track pretty well. This app will always be on any mobile device I have from now on. Things to improve? I'd like to have an easier time tagging w3w location data to pictures I take. Unnecessarily difficult.
3 stars: I am seeing this app posted on backcountry sites. Can we make it VERY obvious that while you don't need a signal to find your words, you NEED one to call someone for help. A lot of people are posting this app as an alternative to PLBs which is DANGEROUS. Please make it very obvious in your wording so people don't think they will be found no matter where they are lost. You are screwed if you can't call someone.
5 stars: I installed it for emergencies, particularly when hiking, but it helped so much during a breakdown on the motorway in the middle of the night! The breakdown cover man was asking where we were and it was so hard to explain, then I remembered I had what 3 words and the man knew exactly where we were and how to get to us ! Could be a life saver!
5 stars: I am a night delivery driver, and finding remote addresses in villages can be a challenge, well until I installed this excellent app. Now I can store and save the addresses, which can be easily accessed for pin point navigation regardless how remote an address is...
