4 stars: I was using the MVUM map for Bears Ears in Colorado that was loaded on my phone. I was happy surprised to see a blue dot on the map representing my location whether I was on the road or walking off-road. Totally accurate. Very fast. I will buy more maps from Avenza.
5 stars: I'm hiking the Heyson Trail in the Flinders Ranges and these maps are brilliant. It is not always easy to find the trail markers and the magic blue dot just takes you there. Best $50 I spent preparing for this adventure.
4 stars: Love that access to maps and map locations, but not real easy to figure it out the app at first. But so very convenient to access various maps I want, and see my location of the map I've downloaded even when not in cell service range.
5 stars: This app is amazing when you are 'off the grid'. I love getting in to remote places and with Avenza I always have a map and know where I am via the phones gps. Great work, thanks!
5 stars: covered many trails this summer and app worked very well with the exception of one area. Maps were accurate but nearly 1/2 mile off actual location. This only happened in one area so im not sure why. Everywhere else in the state it was right on. I always used in conjunction with BLM maps and GPS. It would be a good feature to be able to orient map in this situation.
5 stars: Very usefull and easy to use. You can use avenza in remote areas without paying for any maps (you can use up to 3 maps from outside avenza store for free)...
