5 stars: CT-ART 4.0 (Chess Tactics) apk download - As one of the other commenters suggested, you should have an option in settings where you can set if an exercise is considered as Erroneous (for test mode) if solved after more than X minutes (user can set X to any number or turn off this feature completely if they wished). Great app, highly recommend it!
5 stars: CT-ART 4.0 (Chess Tactics) apk download - This is a great app based on many years of pedagogical labour by Maxim Blokh (whose name should appear on the main screen IMO). I have played through about 25% of the problems and think it well worth the money. Some suggestions for improvement: 1. Tactical themes are too specific to be useful. Should be a category for problems that come from *actual games*, and another option to separate middlegames from endgames. 2. There is an option to play through problems that you got wrong, But the app should also store problems that take more than a certain amount of time to solve. Even in level 20 there are mates that I see in < 20 sec but others might take me more than 2-3 minutes. Right now there is no way to revisit them. 3. The 'ELO rating' is completely useless. It is way too generous with partial credit for mistakes. This is not a huge deal for me personally but it would be nice to keep track of improvement. 4. Please add an option for 'spaced repetition' for a set of problems. That would be awesome!
