4 stars: Using Gmail for as long as Android phones are on the market. Generally great straightforward app. Love notifications and menu. what disappointed recently was - there are 3 tabs on bottom for mail, chat, and meet. But the last one doesn't work!! one needs a separately installed meet app to actually make calls. very confusing. Maybe it's designed for expansion in the future or afterthought?
3 stars: 1. I’m unable to search email addresses in the To or Cc fields using domain names on the app. It would be helpful if domain-based search functionality could be supported. 2. The app doesn’t allow categorizing emails by color or creating new categories. It would be great to have the option to manage and create color categories directly within the app for better organization.
2 stars: I hate the new app update. It's made it way harder to tell the difference between read and unread emails, the font is not bolded enough on the unread ones and there's almost no contrast between those and the ones that have been read. It's made it way harder to find things. A simple adjustement in line weight could help so much. I much preferred the app before the update!
