5 stars: I love having this alternate number and the additional telephone management services it provides. There are essentially helpful when seeking to avoid roaming charges when you need to place a long distance call or should you need to call out of the country; the rates are more reasonable than those of your cell phone providers.
4 stars: I've been a user since Voice was first offered many years ago. Great product. Text & calls great with a good data connection. Only down side is that some companies can not text the Voice service. Spam control works well. Love that you can use it on Chromebook or Win computer with Chrome browser. One of the best Google offerings.
3 stars: good basic phone app but doesn't have a lot of nice to have features and is fairly unstable (both on calls and the app itself) ---- in response to the developer I've been using Google voice since it launched, this is a 16 year review. this problem has been on many phones and multiple resets on the latest flagship phones. It's not a simple reinstall problem and very much seems to be the app itself or the service.
