4 stars: The map does not show secondary shortcuts. In many cases, it only shows traffic on main roads. If you don't know the shortcuts in the city, then you will get stuck in traffic. The app has a lot of strong colors. It would be good if they reduced them. The only reason I keep it is that it shows speed cameras. Google Maps gives more options while driving. You can see shortcuts by clicking on the map, while Waze does not give such an option.
4 stars: Waze is awesome, but a few things could make it perfect: 1. Show images & which side of the street the destination's on – knowing that would cut down on crazy last-minute lane changes. 2. Fix the YouTube Music integration – the audio cuts out too much. It needs a more reliable connection. 3. Way fewer pop-ups! Too many notifications are distracting. A
2 stars: I install this app to use with Android auto specifically for the audible alert that it is supposed to have for when you are speeding. Unfortunately, this feature doesn't seem to work - I've tried it both with and without a route programmed in. Looking at various forums, it seems that this feature has worked in the past, but it's now broken for Android devices... Too bad!
