5 stars: I think this game adds a lot that others of the genre don't have, like all the different mini games in it, the base building feels especially rewarding as well. I will say it feels like it can be pay to win but not as bad as some others, i.e. state of survival. I might be biased cause I am a fan of age of empires IP, but I think this is very well done.
3 stars: Plays closer to something like rise of kingdoms. I won't say this game is bad because it's not. But to call it the beautiful classic that age of empires is? It's not. It's trying. But it's not. It's fun. But it doesn't captivate me or hold me like the classics. I used to spend dozens of hours playing the classics. If your looking for that this game IS NOT that.
2 stars: Bit boring, I was hoping for a age of empires type game but it's not. Literally the same as every other game of its type. I dont understand why they are so linear with the gameplay, you have to upgrade everything to a certain level before you upgrade the town hall and so on, it gets very boring very quick
