5 stars: The image quality is amazing but there some cons: · It forces me to have Google Photos installed to quick access them. · Sometimes food may look a bit pale than it looks to the natural eye. But the color accuracy in general, color precision from fireplaces, dark and nightsky pictures are incredible (astro mode is nuts!). The app is almost perfect, It can be.
3 stars: Pixel 6. Updated to Android 15. Camera crashes regularly. So I have to force stop it and cleared Cache. Works for a few days and then stops again when trying to take pictures. Never know if it's working until I really want to take a picture and then sometimes it hangs and I have to clear Cache. This is after only taking a few pictures from day to day.
3 stars: Look there's no denying that this app helps make deep colours pop, but the way in which is HEAVILY crushes the blacks and increases contrast without a way to turn that off? No thanks. I don't need every selfie to look like I've aged 20 years on film grain. More options to adjust settings like this is desperately needed for those of us who know what settings to adjust.
2 stars: Too much artificial sharpening. Colour not accurate such as close up shot of food. Photos tend to be darker and dull, or with a white hue, so I have to often edit choosing dynamic or enhanced to bring it to what my eyes saw. Maybe have same as iPhone let users choose a default photo output style. I want to see what my eyes saw.
