3 stars: Look there's no denying that this app helps make deep colours pop, but the way in which is HEAVILY crushes the blacks and increases contrast without a way to turn that off? No thanks. I don't need every selfie to look like I've aged 20 years on film grain. More options to adjust settings like this is desperately needed for those of us who know what settings to adjust.
3 stars: I often take product photos and had been using a Samsung s21 ultra where I was able to save different profiles on their pro camera app. However, the pixel will not allow you to save settings to different profiles so I have to change all the settings every time I'm taking photos. The pixel camera is amazing, don't get me wrong, but the camera app is just not great for people who are going to do more than just point and click.
2 stars: When I got the phone in Feb 2024, the camera was great. The colours were pretty accurate to real life and the 30x zoom was amazing . I got some great shots of the moon. Recently, I'm not sure if it's an update but the colours are off, images aren't as sharp, and gets blurry at 5.4 zoom. I've cleaned my lens many times so it's not that. What is happening?
