5 stars: Free to play games, sit up and take notice. This is how it's done. Anyone who remembers Puzzle Quest fondly will like this game. All of the skills, progression and matching with added dashes for PvP, challenges and gacha collection. You may not be top tier if you don't spend, but there is tons to do even if you don't.
4 stars: Super addictive and not rigged as a pay to play even though the option is there. Srarting to grind after reaching level 45 but not horribly. I havent experienced any trouble getting higher level cards, but souls ... what you need to upgrade cards are sparse .. so use sparingly. Only real problem Ive had is the network being laggy and first time today, I cant get back in ... we'll see how that goes.
4 stars: I enjoy the game but wished progression was a little more clear. Also more info about managing your team(s) would be nice. The one thing i really wish though was that the little colored circles on the characters were bigger to make them easier to see and know what they energy types were
5 stars: Highly addictive match 3 from the makers of Puzzle Quest. I played the original PQ and LOVED it. This is a much more intricate, but very fun re-imagining of it. Unfortunately, to get the best troops, you'll eventually have to spend money. I tried sticking to Free to Play, but that didn't last long. Money well spent though, because I'm still playing almost a year later!
4 stars: Would love to give it a 5, but the forced tutorial kills ...
