3 stars: I would give it all 5 stars if it wasn't for the lessons that say I've answered incorrectly when my answer is exactly what the 'correct answer' says. It is a bit frustrating because it takes your health away and you have to wait hours to begin again. I was on a roll with one last health, and it said I was incorrect. Please fix this issue! This has been an ongoing issue. Thank you.
5 stars: This is a great language learning tool. For the Japanese, they teach the characters in an easy to learn format. It really breaks down a complicated writing system very well. Your reading and writing skills develop along with your listening and speaking skills. I heard of people who say tgey can read and uderstand a language but can't really speak it that well and vice versa. So, I think the Duolingo program is excellent.
4 stars: I enjoy using this app as a form of vocabulary building and memorisation. However for it to be most effective (such as learning the intricicies of grammar) you need to use other means. The app works smoothly and is easy to use. I enjoy the different Leauges and it's fun trying to stay in the top of the group. A Little incentive if you will to study. The ads aren't too evasive and I'm considering going Plus but we will see.
