4 stars: How minimalist can you get? Just the bones thank you. It's basically the frame work. Does it update? I don't know. It scans and tells you that you're either safe or you have problems. Does it scan deeply, ie every file? I don't really know. If you don't like being bothered by semantics. This is for you. AV Tested. And it's FREEEEEeee!
5 stars: This works unobtrusively and doesn't hog resources. I'm not a hands-on Linux/hacker person. I just wanna plug 'n' play. I'm not interested in fiddling with settings and optimising things and making smart, critical choices when dealing with antivirus and firewall software - I'm not clever enough to do that - I just want something that works. This works, and it's free. Somebody else has done all the hard work, and that's fine by me. :-)
5 stars: The ads are not too intrusive, which is good, and it's also good that it's not the sort of app to pester you with notifications. Bitdefender have amoung the very highest virus and malware AV detection on the market. i woulld highly recommend this app. it's resource footprints is low also so shouldn't slow your device down. In fact it has been so non intrusive and trust worthy I might very well upgrade.
5 stars: Easy self-install with no user intervention. I have been using Bitdefender for many years on my PC Desktop and Laptop.. and I am very pleased with this free edition.. That's all a 71-year old senior needs.. basic protection. Thank you.. guys.. DH/Sydney/2k190520.
