3 stars: They have every trail I've looked for and have available offline maps. The only problem I'm having is that when you're trying to make a favorite list. I'm trying to put them in order of where I'd like to go first and the list keeps moving everything around and I have to restart. Overall, good for day hikes not the best app to plan a trip.
5 stars: Great for finding trails wherever you may roam. I've been using it for a couple of years. New trails have been added over time and the ability to post trail conditions / reviews is great. GPS may not always be accurate in places with a lot of switchbacks (like mountain bike trails) I recently found out.
4 stars: Great app but could be excellent. I would rather pay a one time fee than monthly rates, even if that meant I would have fewer data layers or could only download a limited number of trails per flat rate. For example, 100 trails for 100 dollars or something similar. I'm not a super hiker and don't need every trail. Some I won't want, some I won't need but I'd like a better range of options.
5 stars: Great product with the Pro version. I have created a ton of maps and loaded them to my garmin watch. Did a 12 mile loop on and off trail in Joshua Tree that worked great along with others. More trails available on Alltrails than the Garmin software by a long shot. Going international soon and stoked to have my trails on my wrist even without service! Great work Alltrails!
