5 stars: Works perfect. For anyone saying it doesn't work your not doing it right. It simple. 1) connect phone and computer to the same wifi. 2) open photos app, go to photos app settings, scroll down and turn on "show additional preview features", back out of settings 3) click on import choose "from mobile over wifi". 4) open Photos Companion, scan the QR code on your computer screen, choose which photos you want to transfer, tap done and they transfer. It's that easy and works perfect. The import from mobile over wifi only shows if you turn the show additional preview features setting on. You CAN choose any photo or video you want, the app does not transfer all or choose for you. Anyone saying otherwise doesn't know what they are doing. Thank you Microsoft Garage, just what I needed to make transferring photos and videos very easy.
4 stars: Works absolutely fine! I don't know why people are saying it doesn't work or that all photos are automatically chosen. Careful: use the Photos app on the pc, not any photo file. Only thing I wish it had was to transfer also from PC to mobile. And a little bit faster loading of the avatars or the ability to chose specific albums to work with and not the whole gallery of the phone.
