5 stars: Great little app. With it I have been able to see which cables are best for urgent recharging cycles and which can just be used for data or overnight. A colleague of mine was complaining that his car lighter port just wasn't putting out enough power to keep his phone from discharging when being used as a sat nav and music source. He followed my suggestion to try this app and see the rate with different cables. Sorted.
3 stars: Still doesn't work on the Galaxy S7 Edge. I have an inline amp/voltmeter to compare with. On the normal mode it always indicates 1000 mA. When using the ”Model detection override” setting, it indicates significantly lower than actual amps. It is a sporadic reading, usually less than half of actual. It seemed to work on my S4.
4 stars: The app works perfectly, but the only you get is to see the charging current at the moment you refresh. You don't see it in real time, you have to update manually (by pressing the button) to check the current at the moment.
5 stars: Great App, it's a must if you have a Galaxy, you will not believe how much you cable matters, even disconnecting / reconnecting the same cable can do a world of a difference. I always verify the charging current after connecting. Worked like a charm on my S3, S4 and S6, shame it doesn't yet work with my S8
